About the Team and Culture
You will join the Global Enterprise Segment (GES), where Cisco oversees its top 500 strategic accounts. Role Impact and Responsibilities
As an Account Executive at Cisco, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned territory using a channel distribution model. Your approach will combine aggressive opportunity pursuit with strategic relationship building and sales savvy in a complex, matrixed environment. Prioritizing a customer-first mindset, you will establish mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and solidify long-term partnerships through a deep understanding of client needs and customized solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that elevate Cisco's market presence and reputation.
- Act as the essential liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and teamwork that fulfill client goals.
- Provide valuable insights from customer interactions and market trends to inform the refinement of effective sales strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology sales.
- At least 4 years managing large accounts, including skills in forecasting, quota achievement, sales presentations, and handling opportunities over different time horizons.
- 4+ years of market domain expertise and technical proficiency sufficient to measure business impact and deepen customer relationships.
- 3+ years handling strategic accounts with interactions across executive levels and key decision-makers.
- 3+ years of negotiation experience to secure successful agreements.
- Expertise in presenting comprehensive solutions and articulating Cisco’s strategic vision to customers and executives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Capability to position complete Cisco strategies and solutions to senior customer executives.
- Proven track record delivering business value to both end users and channel partners.
- Strong blend of technical and business knowledge to understand customer drivers and map Cisco solutions accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Self-driven with the ability to effectively communicate Cisco products and business strategies to generate demand and close deals.
- Attributes such as passion, integrity, trustworthiness, leadership, and ability to execute.
