About the Role
The Account Executive position is a sales-focused role aimed at maintaining and expanding client relationships within Large Enterprise accounts. The role involves building trust with C-Level executives and their teams, understanding clients’ key priorities, and ensuring they realize the full value from Gartner’s offerings while identifying opportunities for additional services.
This role focuses on clients with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion, managing a designated territory of Large Enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure clients maximize their value from Gartner services through proactive engagement.
- Identify, pursue, and close cross-selling and upselling opportunities to grow client accounts.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of high-quality sales opportunities to meet sales KPIs.
- Take full quota responsibility for the assigned territory.
- Manage complex, high-value sales within multifaceted and diverse business settings.
- Handle forecasting and account planning regularly on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 5 to 8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex and intangible product environments.
- Experience engaging with or influencing C-Level executives.
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Proven skills in managing, owning, and forecasting complex sales processes.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
