About the Role
Shri Ambaji Food Products Private Limited, located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, is seeking a diligent and meticulous Accounts Executive to join their Accounts & Finance department. This full-time position requires managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting the company’s accounting functions efficiently under the supervision of the Accounts Manager or management.
Key Responsibilities
- Record all daily accounting transactions using Tally ERP or Tally Prime software.
- Process entries related to purchases, sales, receipts, and payments accurately.
- Prepare and organize invoices, vouchers, and corresponding supporting documents.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing.
- Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Keep detailed records of cash and bank transactions.
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities as required.
- Verify bills, expenses, and associated documents for accuracy.
- Assist with monthly financial closing procedures and generate basic Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Maintain systematic filing and documentation of all accounting records.
- Liaise with HR, Purchase, Sales, and other departments regarding accounting matters.
- Perform any additional accounting-related tasks assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tally ERP or Tally Prime accounting software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data handling.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and fundamental accounting principles.
- Strong grasp of ledger entries, journal vouchers, debit/credit analysis, and bank reconciliations.
- Excellent numerical aptitude and analytical capabilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all accounting tasks.
Educational Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or an equivalent qualification in Accounts or Finance is essential.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or factory accounts are favored.
