Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Academic Counselors to manage student inquiries and admissions processes effectively. The role involves understanding students' academic history, career goals, and budgeting to recommend appropriate undergraduate, postgraduate, online, and distance-learning programs, ensuring a high conversion rate of leads into admissions.

Key Duties

• Manage assigned leads and student inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and other communication platforms.
• Assess academic backgrounds and career aspirations to provide tailored counseling.
• Explain details related to courses, universities, eligibility, fee structures, admissions procedures, and documentation requirements thoroughly.
• Maintain regular follow-ups to guide students through to admission confirmation.
• Meet individual monthly admission targets and associated revenue goals.
• Keep accurate records of lead statuses, follow-ups, and student data within the CRM system.
• Ensure prompt contact of new leads, leaving no assigned inquiry unattended.
• Collaborate with admissions and documentation teams following successful student conversions.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with students throughout the admissions journey.
• Participate actively in promotional campaigns and admission drives as needed.
• Provide timely sales and conversion reports to management.

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 years' experience in academic counseling, education consultancy, student admissions, or education-focused sales roles.
• Deep understanding of UG/PG and higher-education admission processes, with a focus on credit transfer options.
• Excellent communication, counseling, negotiation, and deal-closing capabilities.
• Strong skills in follow-up and maintaining student relationships.
• Proven track record in reaching targets and converting leads into enrolled students.
• Familiarity with CRM or lead management software preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Languages spoken: Malayalam, English, Hindi; proficiency in South Indian languages is an advantage.

Additional Information

• Work mode: Hybrid (combination of onsite and remote work).
• Number of vacancies: 5.
• Monthly salary: AED 3,000 plus performance incentives of AED 200 per successful admission.
