AC-HVAC Technician

About the Role

Ikamate is recruiting a Field Service Technician specialized in AC and HVAC systems for Ice Make Refrigeration Limited, focusing on cold storage, HVAC, chiller plants, and refrigeration equipment in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform installation, servicing, and upkeep of cold storage units, HVAC systems, chiller plants, refrigeration devices, and air conditioning units.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conduct site visits and provide on-field service assistance.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and manage breakdown emergencies.
• Liaise effectively with customers and report to supervisors.
• Maintain detailed service logs and daily work reports.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and operational standards at job sites.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Fundamental understanding of HVAC and refrigeration technologies.
• Knowledge in electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and solving technical problems.
• Experience working in field service roles.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate well with clients.

Qualification Criteria

• Formal education such as ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical, or Mechanical fields.
• Relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
