Role Overview
The company seeks an experienced Project Manager based in Doha, Qatar, with strong expertise in the Utility sector. This role involves managing complex software and business projects, ensuring delivery under stringent service agreements, and working within government client environments.
Responsibilities and Experience Required
- Manage IT projects and delivery within the Utilities domain, handling both fixed-price and outcome-based contracts governed by SLAs.
- Experience working with public sector or government clients, preferably familiar with the State of Qatar's governance structure.
- Lead hybrid onsite-offshore delivery teams and manage project artifacts using Azure DevOps, Primavera, Unifier, and MS Planner.
- Utilize Power BI and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and performance analysis.
Qualifications and Certifications
- A relevant bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in a computing field is preferred.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in IT project management.
- Mandatory certification in project management: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
- Preferred Agile certification such as PMI-ACP or SAFe Agilist, supporting hybrid agile delivery models.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage, particularly for service transition interactions.
