Join Nathaniel School of Music as a Video Production Assistant focusing on YouTube music lessons for a channel boasting 126,000 subscribers. You'll be involved in all aspects from shooting to editing and final publishing preparations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Prepare the studio setting by organizing cameras, lighting, and microphones for shoots.
- Handle footage by copying, appropriately naming, and safely backing up after each shoot.
- Create initial video edits to support the video editor's workflow.
- Conduct thorough checks before videos are published, ensuring titles, descriptions, links, and end screens are accurate.
- Capture student performances and testimonials through recording sessions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-studio internship from late September to early November 2026, spanning three months.
- Candidates should possess relevant skills and a genuine interest in video production and music.
- Women looking to start or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.
- Preference given to graduates or master's students; advanced undergraduates in their third year or having completed it are also welcome.
- Prior experience in video shooting or editing is required; sharing a portfolio or link is necessary. Playing an instrument or singing is advantageous.
- Interns must be available on Saturdays for shoots and able to work from the Langford Town studio in Bangalore.
Compensation and Benefits
- A stipend of INR 12,000 per month is offered for the internship period.
- You'll receive a certificate and a letter of recommendation upon completion.
- The working environment supports an informal dress code.
Work Schedule and Additional Details
- The internship runs Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, primarily at the Langford Town studio.
- Most roles are multi-disciplinary, enabling exposure across various areas of the organization.
- If availability is for fewer days, workload and stipend will be adjusted correspondingly.
- Daily work concludes with a brief written update summarizing the day's tasks.
