Video Editing and Production Internship (Remote, Part-Time)

Internship Overview

This remote internship offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the post-production process of a California-based abstract art studio's YouTube channels. You will assist with editing long-form videos that showcase art creation and home decor with an atmospheric style, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, sequence, and pace raw video footage into polished 10-25 minute episodes for art and home decor channels.
• Mix and refine audio including ambient sounds and ASMR elements where sound is focal.
• Apply color correction and ensure visual consistency between shots across the videos.
• Add text elements such as simple titles, overlays, and end screens adhering to a predefined style guide.
• Export final video files and save project files into a shared folder following specifications.
• Deliver the first edited cut within 3-4 days of receiving footage and incorporate feedback in one revision cycle.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be able to work from home and avail themselves from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Indian Standard Time, corresponding to the company's operational hours.
• The internship start date should be between August 16, 2026, and September 20, 2026.
• Only candidates available for a 3-month duration and possessing relevant video editing skills should apply.

Additional Requirements

• Provide links to personally edited long-form videos (over 8 minutes); short clips are insufficient.
• Preference for candidates comfortable with a slow-paced, atmospheric editing style rather than fast-cut vlogging styles.
• Stable high-speed internet required to manage large files between 20 and 50 GB for each project.
• The role is continuing and not a one-time assignment, focused on ongoing collaboration.

Compensation and Perks

• The stipend ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 30,000 per month.
• Flexible working hours are provided to accommodate personal schedules.
• Participants will receive a certificate and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
