About the Internship
This internship opportunity is with a Mumbai-based IT firm focused on debt management and collection services for banks and NBFCs. The selected interns will be responsible for handling telephonic collection activities specifically targeting commercial vehicle loans. Duties include contacting borrowers to recover overdue payments, maintaining accurate records in the company’s app, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Make regular phone calls to borrowers to follow up on overdue loan payments.
- Manage commercial vehicle loan accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Accurately document call details, payment commitments, and updates in the company’s application.
- Constantly monitor repayment progress and maintain engagement with customers.
- Strive to meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals.
- Assist in coordinating asset repossession following approved guidelines when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with company, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage professionally in negotiation and repayment restructuring discussions.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities ensuring proper case resolution.

Stipend and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranges from INR 10,000 to 16,000 comprising a fixed pay of INR 5,000-6,000 and performance incentives of INR 5,000-10,000.
