Internship Role Overview
This Robotics internship offers a hands-on opportunity to collaborate with the engineering team on a range of projects that integrate software, hardware, sensors, and automation technologies. Interns will actively contribute to the design, development, testing, and refinement of robotic systems, gaining practical knowledge in robotics and embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and testing phases of robotic systems and automation applications.
- Create and update robotics-related programs using Python and C++ languages.
- Engage with hardware platforms such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators.
- Provide assistance in combining hardware components with robotics software.
- Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and testing of both robotics software and hardware elements.
- Gather and analyze data to assess and enhance robot functionality.
- Explore advanced technologies including ROS/ROS 2 frameworks, computer vision, IoT, and embedded systems depending on project needs.
- Participate in technical meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategic project planning.
- Maintain proper documentation for development activities, testing methods, outcomes, and technical insights.
- Report project statuses and share findings with senior team members.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fundamental knowledge of robotics and automation concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C/C++.
- Experience or familiarity with Raspberry Pi or Arduino platforms.
- Basic comprehension of sensors, actuators, and embedded system components.
- Eagerness to learn ROS/ROS 2 and robotics software systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
