About the Role

As a Full Stack Developer Intern focusing on AI and agentic systems at UTOR Labs, you will engage in creating impactful product capabilities that integrate advanced AI technologies with software and operational systems. The internship emphasizes hands-on development and exploration of AI agents within real-world product contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications alongside backend APIs that deliver rich, data-focused user experiences.
• Implement integrations of large language models (LLMs) into functional workflows, including structured output generation, tool invocation, and context-aware assistance.
• Experiment with autonomous AI agents capable of utilizing various tools, coordinating multi-step tasks, collecting data, and managing defined workflow sequences.
• Interface applications with external APIs, databases, and third-party platforms to enhance functionality.
• Translate initial concepts and prototypes into dependable, user-friendly features that prioritize speed, safety, and usability.
• Iterate rapidly by prototyping, testing, gathering feedback, and refining solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with React, with an enthusiasm for full-stack software development.
• Understanding of essential web and backend components such as APIs, HTTP protocols, JSON formats, and relational databases.
• Experience with Python programming, backend development frameworks, and integrating AI/LLM technologies.
• Curiosity and eagerness to explore agent frameworks, tool-calling techniques, workflow orchestrations, and AI-based automation solutions.
• Strong analytical skills combined with a drive to learn through practical construction and experimentation.

Additional Advantageous Skills

• Experience with Next.js, Node.js, Django, or FastAPI.
• Previous projects involving LLM APIs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or automation workflows.
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Docker, PostgreSQL, and cloud deployment environments.
• Availability of a GitHub repository, deployed applications, or personal projects to showcase.
• Note: Mastery of every technology is not mandatory; a solid foundation in concepts, practical problem-solving abilities, and quick learning capacity are prioritized.

• Stipend: INR 20,000 to 30,000 per month
