About the Internship
This internship offers a practical experience for college students eager to contribute to innovative STEM DIY hardware projects, emphasizing PCB design, embedded firmware development, sensor integration, and IoT systems.
The ideal candidate is passionate about electronics, PCB layout, and embedded platforms, enthusiastic about enhancing STEM education through technological innovation.
Intern Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate printed circuit boards for pioneering STEM and Internet of Things applications.
- Create and refine schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using platforms such as Fusion, Altium, KiCad, or comparable software.
- Develop and debug firmware for microcontroller-based systems including Arduino, ESP series, STM32, etc.
- Integrate diverse sensors and hardware components into functional real-world systems.
- Work collaboratively with team members to create engaging STEM educational kits and develop corresponding tutorials.
- Support hardware troubleshooting, conduct circuit testing, and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Engage in innovative brainstorming sessions to enhance product development.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must commit to a full-time, on-site internship.
- Internship commencement should be between 3rd September 2026 and 8th October 2026.
- Candidates must be available for a continuous period of six months.
- Possess relevant skills and a keen interest in the role.
- Currently enrolled B.Tech students in Electronics and Communication Engineering (8th semester), batch of 2025 or 2026.
Compensation and Benefits
The stipend ranges from ₹11,000 to ₹14,000 per month, distributed as a fixed component of ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 plus incentives between ₹1,000 and ₹2,000 monthly.
