Internship Overview
This remote internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the finance domain, particularly focusing on equity markets, derivatives, and macroeconomic trends. The selected intern will participate in a dynamic environment involving financial analysis, modelling, and market research to support decision-making and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing stock markets, derivatives products, and broader economic conditions affecting financial markets.
- Help prepare detailed investment memorandums, pitch decks, and earnings summaries to support investment decisions.
- Monitor financial news, track stock performance, and generate trade ideas utilizing online platforms such as TradingView and Investing.com.
- Contribute to financial modelling activities, portfolio monitoring, and assessment of performance metrics.
- Develop content and conduct research that supports training sessions, case studies, and competitive events.
- Work jointly with trading teams to back-test and validate trading strategies before implementation.
- Engage in daily reviews of trades and suggest areas for performance enhancement.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Open to undergraduates or recent graduates in finance, economics, commerce, BBA, MBA, or related disciplines.
- Passionate about stock markets, trading, and investment strategies.
- Possess foundational knowledge of Microsoft Excel, common market terminology, and investment platform navigation.
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and an eagerness to learn within a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with MS Excel, PowerPoint, or charting tools is advantageous.
- Candidates preparing for certifications such as CFA or FRM, or aspiring for roles in equity research, trading, or investment banking are encouraged to apply.
- Must be available for a 2-month period working remotely and able to begin between September 21, 2026, and October 26, 2026.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranges between ₹6,000 and ₹30,000, which includes a fixed component of ₹1,000 to ₹25,000 and a ₹5,000 incentive.
- Successful interns may receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation.
- Flexible working hours to accommodate personal schedules.
- Upon successful conversion to a full-time employee, expected annual salary ranges from ₹450,000 to ₹580,000.
