About the internship
Internship Overview
This internship focuses on the underrepresented and often misunderstood fixed income segment of retail finance in India. Interns will play a key role in enhancing content around fixed income securities, offering significant autonomy to shape their contributions.
Primary Duties
- Monitor primary issuances, yields, and spreads for both corporate and government bonds.
- Develop bond pricing and duration calculators using Excel to support analysis.
- Condense and summarize the rationale behind issuer ratings provided by rating agencies.
- Create explanatory content on bond mechanics tailored for readers without specialized knowledge.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive database tracking bond issuances, including their terms and covenants.
