Internship Overview
This internship opportunity involves hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab. The intern will assist with daily Kubernetes platform operations, provision and configure virtual machines, and manage system monitoring with observability alerts. Troubleshooting infrastructure, database, and deployment challenges is a key responsibility, alongside supporting ongoing cloud environment operations.
Candidate Profile
- Open to final-year students or recent graduates (0–1 year experience) eager to pursue a career in cloud engineering.
- Aspiring DevOps professionals seeking practical exposure to enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Available for a full-time, six-month internship with consistent daily coordination and deliverables.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Hold a B.Tech, M.Tech, or an equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Technical Foundations Required
- Working knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose; familiarity with Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Established understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar databases.
- Fundamental understanding of cloud networking concepts.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
- Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
- Comfortable working with Linux/Unix systems, preferably Ubuntu.
