Role Overview
The Junior Project Manager will assist in managing on-site operations and the daily oversight of construction activities in Galway, playing a supportive yet vital role in project coordination and execution.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating site activities, scheduling, and allocation of resources effectively.
- Help enforce on-site health and safety protocols in alignment with company standards.
- Track project milestones and maintain precise documentation for site activities.
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Support quality assurance efforts and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Some prior experience (such as internships, placements, or 1-2 years) in construction site supervision or project management roles.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong organisational capabilities paired with effective communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently within a site-based team environment.
- Understanding of construction operations, health and safety standards, and project documentation practices.
- Possession of a full clean driving license.
