Role Overview

We are seeking a senior structural engineer based in Auckland as the initial local representative supporting projects while collaborating with our Christchurch and Queenstown offices. This role involves growing PTL's footprint in Auckland, including mentoring and leading a local team of structural and fire engineers.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Hold an internationally recognised tertiary qualification in structural engineering.
• Possess minimum five years of experience working in New Zealand.
• Be chartered as a structural engineer or progressing towards chartership.
• Demonstrated success leading design and construction project monitoring.
• A passion for continual learning and knowledge exchange.
• Strong interpersonal skills focused on relationship building.
• Motivation to lead, grow others, and oversee the delivery of exceptional client outcomes.
