Role Overview
As a key contributor to the data engineering team, you will design and implement robust data architectures that transform raw inputs into meaningful insights driving strategic decisions. Your work will involve developing scalable data pipelines and models, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and reliability organization-wide.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL processes, data pipelines, and warehousing systems to manage complex datasets.
- Enhance performance of data infrastructure, enforce quality standards, and deploy automated monitoring tools.
- Collaborate across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to provide data solutions that inform strategic initiatives.
- Respond swiftly to urgent and ad-hoc data requests, delivering accurate analyses and solutions under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum seven years of experience in data engineering roles.
- Extensive expertise in data modeling, warehouse architecture, and best ETL practices.
- Proficiency with modern data stacks including Snowflake, Airflow (or DBT), and AWS services.
- Understanding of distributed systems, experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis, and optimizing data workflows at scale.
- Agility in managing high-priority data requests with quick and reliable turnarounds.
