Job Overview
GemPool Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent consulting and digital transformation firm to hire a Senior Solution Architect. This role involves joining an expanding technology team responsible for delivering transformative and large-scale programmes that drive significant enterprise change.
Based in Dublin, this position offers a hybrid working model requiring employees onsite two to three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete solution architecture lifecycle for major transformation initiatives.
- Develop architectural blueprints addressing both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Establish technical strategy focusing on cloud-native and hybrid technology solutions.
- Serve as a trusted consultant for clients throughout design and delivery stages.
- Work closely with engineering teams, delivery managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to business development efforts by assisting with solution design and technical proposal development.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- A minimum of four years' experience as a Solution Architect in fast-moving enterprise or consulting settings.
- In-depth expertise in architecture disciplines including software, cloud infrastructure, systems integration, and security.
- Practical experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS cloud platforms.
- Solid understanding of modern architecture patterns such as APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native environments.
- Familiarity with Java or .NET development ecosystems.
- Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management and client-facing consultancy roles.
- Experience with shaping solution proposals, defining technical strategies, and enforcing architecture governance policies.
- Relevant certification credentials such as AZ-305, AWS SAP-C02, or TOGAF are considered beneficial.
