Job description
Overview
Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging supplies meets required specifications by managing stocks from suppliers and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Goods Received Voucher (GRV) processes in SAP (PGT).
- Manage stock transfers through SAP (PGT).
- Conduct regular stock counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels, reviewing risk items, blocked stock, and short-dated goods; report any discrepancies.
- Place purchase orders and call-offs with vendors and track delivery status.
- Support weekly production planning by assessing stock availability.
- Maintain organized, systematic filing systems for documentation.
- Follow up on placed orders to ensure timely receipt.
- Maintain cycle counts focusing on critical stock items.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies (Vendor Invoice Management - VIM) where applicable.
- Assist with checking stock during offloading processes as needed.
- Support day-to-day requisition handling.
- Conduct daily Gemba walks to monitor operational processes.
- Manage and sustain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in compliance with AIB and FSSC standards.
- Enhance and maintain First Expiry First Out (FEFO) practices to minimize write-offs.
Qualifications
- Completion of Matriculation (high school diploma equivalent).
- Background in Stores or Supply Chain management.
- Proficiency with basic mathematics.
- Possession of a valid forklift license considered advantageous.
