About the Role
We are seeking a technically skilled Technical Solutions Engineer to join a dynamic AdTech startup located in Dublin. This role is pivotal as the first Technical Solutions hire, involving extensive ownership and close collaboration with customers to facilitate smooth integration of our programmatic advertising platform used across CTV and DOOH. The platform handles billions of ad requests daily, making this a critical and high-impact position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle by responding to RFIs, security questionnaires, and integration queries.
- Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams to comprehend their system architectures and align the platform integration accordingly.
- Manage and execute technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts from initial assessment to successful deployment.
- Assist Customer Success teams by onboarding clients and resolving technical challenges that may disrupt client satisfaction or timelines.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and the Engineering team, translating customer issues into actionable technical and product requirements.
- Create and maintain reusable technical documentation such as integration guides, testing playbooks, and RFI responses.
- Contribute to developing and refining the Technical Solutions function as the company expands.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in roles such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Integration, or Implementation with a customer-focused technical approach.
- Strong grasp of API technologies and integration practices, capable of engaging effectively with customer engineers.
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ownership and initiative in driving projects or evaluations to completion independently.
- A passion for solving customer problems and ensuring operational success.
- Experience or familiarity in AdTech and programmatic advertising concepts, including OpenRTB, Prebid, VAST/VPAID, CTV, DOOH, ads.txt, sellers.json, or SupplyChain is preferable but not essential.
- Knowledge of Go, TypeScript/React, Kubernetes/GCP, BigQuery, or Kafka is advantageous but not a strict requirement.

The position is hybrid-based, requiring three days onsite in Dublin, with a competitive salary package of €70,000 plus a 10% bonus.
