Role Summary

We have a unique opportunity to join Mars Snacking as a Stockroom Coordinator at our Ballarat site. We seek a driven and self-starting individual to lead enhancements within our stockroom operations. This role involves ensuring continuous improvements in stockroom maintenance practices with a focus on material and spare parts availability, adherence to standardized stockroom protocols, and collaboration in integrating maintenance activities with SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the condition and standards of the main stockroom and satellite storage locations, enforcing high-quality stockroom management practices.
  • Manage inventory to support a breakdown-focused maintenance approach, striving to minimize both physical storage space and financial expenses.
  • Track, analyze, and maintain stockroom KPIs to meet elite industry benchmarks.
  • Assist preventative maintenance efforts by linking stockroom inventory with preventive maintenance workflows.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all changes and maintenance activities in databases to preserve equipment histories and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with teams from Reliability, Engineering, and Production to guarantee uninterrupted business operations across production lines.
  • Champion the adoption of new technologies, system upgrades, and automation initiatives aimed at boosting stockroom operational efficiencies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated extensive experience within maintenance or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient user of SAP or comparable maintenance management systems.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance needs and effective store management practices.
  • Competent in gathering and analyzing operational data.
  • Excellent spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to take responsibility and fulfill commitments reliably.
  • Possession of a valid forklift license is mandatory.
