About The Role

Join Google Cloud as a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) where you will serve as a hands-on innovator-builder, implementing cutting-edge AI solutions within customer environments. This role involves bridging advanced AI technology with enterprise production readiness by coding, debugging, and deploying custom agentic workflows. Partner closely with strategic clients to tackle integration, data preparation, and state management challenges, ensuring AI solutions achieve enterprise-level reliability and scalability. Your insights from these deployments will inform and evolve Google Cloud’s AI product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated AI applications transitioning from prototypes to production-quality agentic systems that deliver tangible ROI.
• Design and implement integrations connecting Google's AI products with customer infrastructures, including APIs, legacy datasets, and security frameworks.
• Build and maintain production-grade developer workflows on Google Cloud's AI platform, orchestrating language migrations, refactors, and automated incident remediation.
• Collaborate with customer engineering leaders to diagnose software development lifecycle bottlenecks and establish measurable success criteria.
• Integrate Google's agentic systems into customers’ third-party tools and platforms (such as Atlassian, GitLab, ServiceNow, Slack) using advanced protocols for interoperability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least eight years’ experience in cloud computing or technical roles involving customer engagement.
• Proven expertise deploying and managing Large Language Model or agent-based AI systems in live production settings, including performance profiling and debugging.
• Track record of full project ownership, delivering engineering solutions aligned with executive stakeholder expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in AI, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Experience with multi-agent system development using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or Google’s Agent Development Kit.
• Familiarity with agentic framework layers, protocol-level interoperability across third-party software platforms, and security practices under DevSecOps.
• Knowledge of domain-specific performance metrics, such as tokens per second and cost efficiency, and skills optimizing state management and detailed tracing.
