Overview

AtkinsRéalis seeks experienced Asset Management Managers to lead complex consulting projects and guide strategic choices for leading infrastructure owners and operators throughout the Middle East. This role requires not only strong technical expertise but also leadership abilities, commercial insight, and client engagement skills, preparing candidates for future senior management roles in asset management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct execution of asset management and investment planning engagements.
  • Formulate strategic roadmaps and transformation initiatives for asset management.
  • Advise clients on asset performance enhancement, maintenance efficiency, and investment prioritization.
  • Oversee ISO 55001 adoption and ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Establish and nurture robust client partnerships.
  • Facilitate strategic workshops and engage with executive stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development activities and proposal writing.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive Asset Management Plans and specific asset class strategies covering lifecycle management, renewal criteria, obsolescence control, and cost optimization.
  • Implement asset management and reliability processes into design stages, including specification of design requirements, review procedures, commissioning criteria, and maintenance and procurement data standards.
  • Create maintenance strategies based on reliability-centered maintenance principles and translate these into action plans.
  • Lead condition assessment programs, standardization, and deployment across varied asset portfolios.
  • Manage reliability and failure analyses including investigations of problematic assets and root cause determination.
  • Support Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) initiatives from an asset management viewpoint, including requirements gathering, data standards, and system configuration input.

Candidate Profile

  • Relevant degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Infrastructure, or related field.
  • Between 7 and 12 years of professional experience in asset management advisory roles.
  • Proven track record delivering asset management consultancy projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of lifecycle planning, risk assessment, and investment decision frameworks.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and project management skills.
  • Leadership aptitude with the ability to influence senior-level decisions.
  • Hands-on experience in creating Asset Management Plans, asset class strategies, and lifecycle management frameworks, ideally applied within operational asset environments.
  • Understanding of reliability-centered maintenance standards (SAE JA1011/JA1012/RCM), ISO 14224, and lifecycle costing.
  • Experience with EAMS/CMMS systems such as IBM Maximo, including implementation, enhancement, or data migration preferred.
  • Knowledge in developing condition assessment techniques and asset criticality models.
  • Background in operational, maintenance, reliability, or engineering roles within asset-owning or operating organizations is highly advantageous, supplementing or substituting consultancy experience.
  • Capability to identify effective approaches when methods are unclear, applying sound engineering judgment especially with incomplete data.
