Interior Designer – Design & Site Execution

About the Role

Deeraj Interiors, located in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Interior Designer to oversee both the design and comprehensive site implementation of interior projects. The role involves collaborating closely with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality project delivery within budget and scheduled timelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs to create appropriate interior design concepts.
• Develop space planning, layouts, detailed drawings, and design presentations.
• Create both 2D designs and 3D visualizations for client feedback and approval.
• Select materials, coordinate color schemes, and prepare detailed material presentations.
• Conduct precise site measurements and confirm existing conditions prior to starting execution.
• Generate bills of quantities (BOQs), material lists, and project cost estimations.
• Plan, oversee, and manage comprehensive site execution involving multiple trades.
• Coordinate activities related to carpentry, modular furniture, electrical, plumbing, false ceilings, painting, and other interior tasks.
• Liaise with modular factories, vendors, contractors, and installation teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Supervise material procurement, delivery, and effective onsite utilization.
• Perform routine site visits and provide daily updates on progress.
• Ensure all work is performed according to approved plans and specifications.
• Maintain adherence to quality standards and swiftly address onsite challenges.
• Monitor project timelines, budget expenditures, and outstanding activities.
• Keep clients informed clearly about project developments and any changes.
• Create snag lists, oversee corrections, and ensure timely project completion and handover.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including drawings, measurements, approvals, and project records.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong knowledge of interior design principles and site execution processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant rendering tools.
• Experience with modular kitchens, wardrobes, and furniture design.
• Familiarity with materials, hardware, finishes, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to interpret and prepare working drawings and detailed BOQs.
• Effective site management and coordination with vendors and contractors.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client interaction skills.
• Willingness to travel within Hyderabad to multiple project sites.
• Capacity to manage several projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.

Educational Requirements & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related disciplines is mandatory. Candidates possessing 2 to 5 years of experience specifically in interior design and site management, particularly in residential and commercial projects, will be preferred.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges between INR 15,000 and INR 48,000.
