HSE Supervisor

Job Overview

We seek an experienced HSE Supervisor to lead and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards at the workplace, guaranteeing regulatory adherence and fostering a secure and responsible environment.

Primary Duties

• Manage and oversee implementation of HSE programs and activities at the site.
• Lead comprehensive risk assessments and conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Direct investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring corrective and preventive measures are executed and closed effectively.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to HSE officers and site team members on safety protocols and best practices.
• Maintain and evaluate HSE documentation, statistics, and trends, delivering reports to management.
• Supervise compliance related to personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment certifications, and inspections of vehicles and plant machinery.
• Organize and facilitate toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training sessions.
• Ensure enforcement of disciplinary procedures against recurring safety offenders according to company policies.
• Perform assigned roles such as Fire Warden, Incident Controller, and First Aider when necessary.
• Track and ensure closure of Observation Cards and all HSE documentation appropriately.

Educational and Professional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering coupled with advanced certifications in HSE.
• NEBOSH Certificate mandatory.
• Minimum seven years of experience in HSE functions within sectors like Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or Construction.
• Demonstrated supervisory, investigative, auditing, and training expertise.
