Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable infrastructure and systems. Collaborating closely with development teams, the role requires ensuring efficient operations and smooth deployment workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to optimize development workflows.
• Construct and oversee scalable infrastructure to support AI model deployment and lifecycle processes.
• Automate infrastructure setup and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Enhance cloud and on-premise resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Administer and optimize queuing systems and streaming architectures for real-time data handling.
• Monitor production environments, troubleshoot issues to maintain uptime and performance.
• Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks utilizing solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Establish comprehensive monitoring for both system metrics and machine learning model performance indicators.
• Perform root cause analyses and conduct post-incident reviews to enhance system reliability.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams to deploy features seamlessly into production environments.
• Advocate and implement best practices in system architecture, security protocols, and operational performance.
• Participate in rotation-based on-call duties to support production systems continuously.
• Ensure adherence to security and regulatory compliance standards such as SOC2 and ISO27001.
• Manage sensitive credentials securely using tools like Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language including Python, Bash, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise with container technologies and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Knowledgeable in real-time streaming architectures used in AI and data-intensive applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Understanding of service mesh frameworks such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge regarding database scaling and management for VectorDBs, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Background in supporting high-traffic production environments.
