About HTC Global Services

HTC Global Services is a globally recognized CMM Level 5 IT and Business Process Services provider, established since 1990 with headquarters in Troy, Michigan, USA. They are seeking a specialist for Cargo Application Support focusing on Cargo SkyChain, based in Dubai, UAE on a 1-year extendable contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end functional expertise in Cargo SkyChain covering processes from booking to accounting.
  • Manage production support and handle incident management, including cargo messaging standards and system integrations.
  • Deliver day-to-day application support, monitoring system performance, interfaces, and message processing.
  • Investigate and resolve application incidents and user issues effectively.
  • Support cargo operations such as booking, acceptance, warehouse, and flight handling procedures.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cargo messaging formats including FFM, FWB, FHL, ASM, CPM, UCM, UWS, LIR, and AGM.
  • Coordinate with business users, vendors, and IT teams for system issue resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring problems.
  • Manage application configuration, product setup, and system enhancements.
  • Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
  • Support production releases, deployments, and validate post-implementation stability.
  • Oversee interfaces and integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Analyze and validate operational data utilizing SQL queries and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to IATA cargo messaging standards and industry protocols.
  • Maintain comprehensive application documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Engage in incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Provide on-call support for critical cargo operations as required.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Cargo SkyChain functionality and airline domain knowledge is essential.
  • Experience with cargo messaging standards and system integrations.
  • Ability to perform detailed root cause analysis and manage incident resolution.
  • Competence in SQL for data validation and reporting.
  • Capability to execute various testing methodologies including SIT and UAT.
  • Good coordination and communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.

Additional Information

This position is an on-site contract role for an initial period of one year, with potential extension. Candidates should be ready to provide current and expected compensation details along with notice period when applying.
