Angular Developer

About the Role

This position involves designing, developing, and managing sophisticated, responsive single-page applications primarily using Angular 18+ and TypeScript. The developer will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of features, utilizing modern Angular concepts such as standalone components, Signals, and built-in control flow directives. Scalable state management with NgRx and reactive programming with RxJS will be key aspects of the role.

The role also includes creating data-intensive interactive user interfaces using AG Grid Enterprise and Highcharts for real-time charting. The developer will implement reusable components and responsive designs with SCSS, ngx-bootstrap, and Bootstrap 5, conforming to an established design system.

Full-stack responsibilities include developing backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, working across UI, service, and database layers. Writing and maintaining database queries, contributing to schema modifications, and closely collaborating with backend developers for integration are expected.

Quality assurance practices involve writing unit and integration tests using Jasmine/Karma, JUnit, Playwright, and Cucumber BDD, ensuring compliance with code coverage standards. The developer will focus on application performance, browser compatibility, and responsiveness when handling large financial datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex single-page applications with Angular 18+ and TypeScript.
• Implement modern Angular features including standalone components, Signals, and zoneless change detection.
• Use NgRx for state management and RxJS for reactive data handling.
• Create interactive UIs with AG Grid Enterprise and Highcharts.
• Develop reusable components and responsive layouts using SCSS, ngx-bootstrap, and Bootstrap 5.
• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs with Java and Spring Boot.
• Write and maintain database queries, assist with schema updates.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI and server-side logic.
• Write automated unit and integration/E2E tests and maintain code coverage quality.
• Ensure high performance, cross-browser compatibility, and responsiveness for financial data-heavy applications.
• Maintain clean, lint-compliant code and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like SonarQube, Jenkins/Train, and Gradle.
• Independently scope, estimate, plan, and manage project deliverables.
• Continuously stay updated on new technologies and enhance the platform proactively.
