Overview

We are seeking an AI Security Engineer Manager responsible for safeguarding the design and deployment of AI/ML and Generative AI systems. The position involves direct, hands-on work to embed security, trust, and resilience into AI solutions while supporting swift yet responsible innovation within the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop secure AI-enabled applications focused on balancing business objectives with risk control.
  • Contribute actively to AI/ML and Generative AI system architecture and implementation embedding robust security controls.
  • Manage and operate AI defensive technologies, continuously evolving these protections.
  • Identify vulnerabilities specific to AI such as prompt injections and model manipulation; devise practical defenses.
  • Lead and advocate for secure AI engineering best practices ensuring technical feasibility while aligning with business needs.
  • Maintain rigorous standards for code quality, scalability, and security, fostering reusable secure coding patterns.
  • Enable rapid, safe experimentation by applying well-defined security guardrails.
  • Collaborate extensively across teams including product, engineering, cybersecurity, and risk for integrated AI security solutions.
  • Establish and evolve AI security standards covering data protection, access controls, and monitoring within DevSecOps and MLOps frameworks.
  • Communicate clearly about technical risks and mitigation strategies to a diverse range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • At least 6 years of pertinent experience in software development, cybersecurity, or AI/ML with hands-on delivery.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in managing people and/or processes.
  • Preferred skills include hands-on experience with AI/GenAI technologies, AI security vulnerabilities, programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, and machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Experience in integrating security into CI/CD and MLOps pipelines, and working with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication proficiency, and proven ability to mentor and lead engineers.

You will be part of a large technology division focused on various domains such as Cybersecurity, Tech Support, Infrastructure, Applications, Strategy, and Project Management. The Cybersecurity team specializes in protecting data, leading risk programs, and adapting to threats while safeguarding brand trust.

Additional Information

Applicants should note the recruiting period extends until August 29, 2026. Compensation is influenced by multiple factors including experience, certifications, and organizational needs. The estimated salary range is from $118,700 to $243,700, excluding location-based adjustments. Eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program exists, contingent on performance.

This role directly impacts reducing organizational risk and fostering trust in AI technologies while ensuring compliance and protecting assets.
