About the Internship
We are inviting enthusiastic interns to support and enhance our core operations processes at Flipspaces, a pioneer in virtual-reality-based interior design and contracting solutions. This hands-on internship involves contributing to multiple facets of operational excellence, including project delivery, procurement, and finance oversight. Interns will engage deeply in process documentation, performance tracking, and adoption of frameworks designed to elevate operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in development and formatting of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across essential functions such as project delivery, procurement, site management, and financial operations.
- Conduct detailed interviews with colleagues from diverse departments to map and document current processes accurately.
- Manage the operations improvement tracker by updating status reports, identifying delays, and ensuring timely follow-up on pending tasks.
- Contribute to the deployment of stage-gate project delivery frameworks by creating checklists and monitoring their usage.
- Support the preparation of weekly project health reports by collecting input from project managers, organizing key indicators, and highlighting discrepancies.
- Create summary tables and basic dashboards using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for review by senior leadership.
- Gather and compile financial data post-project to analyze profitability, comparing actual spending to budgets categorized accordingly.
- Research industry benchmarks and best practices to inform ongoing operations improvement initiatives.
- Prepare monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports by collecting data from function heads and formatting it to meet established standards.
- Facilitate adoption of project management platforms (such as Vizdom) by monitoring live projects, coordinating updates, and flagging compliance issues.
- Maintain and update the internal SOP knowledge base to ensure it remains current and well-organized by function.
- Support AI pilot projects by gathering training datasets, executing test cases, and documenting outcomes related to bill of quantities and vendor quotations.
- Assess new technological tools and applications for potential integration into operational processes and prepare structured recommendations.
- Organize weekly operations review meetings by setting agendas, consolidating inputs, distributing minutes, and tracking action items.
- Coordinate cross-team follow-ups related to ongoing operational improvements and project management activities.
- Assist the Vice President with special projects and perform ad hoc data analyses as needed.
- Help develop project dashboards to aid management in tracking progress and performance.
- Track and record key performance indicators including adherence to timelines, documentation quality, and vendor service levels.
- Generate comprehensive summaries and reports that enable data-driven decision-making for organizational leaders.
Candidate Eligibility
This opportunity is open to candidates who can commit to a full-time in-office internship and are available to start between August 25, 2026, and September 29, 2026, with a commitment of three months. Suitable applicants should possess relevant skills and interests aligning with the role.
Additional Candidate Requirements
- Currently in final year or recently graduated in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Architecture, or related disciplines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, capable of independently producing pivot tables, dashboards, and polished presentations.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills to break down complex issues and present findings clearly.
- High level of attention to detail and reliability in following through on tasks.
- Energetic and curious mindset with an eagerness to learn operational details of a growing business.
- Basic knowledge of project management or collaboration software such as Asana, Trello, Notion, or Jira is advantageous.
- Previous internship experience in consulting, operations, finance, or supply chain is considered a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
