Job Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing the procurement and inventory management of biomedical equipment, supplies, and materials essential for healthcare facilities. It demands strong organizational skills, accuracy, and familiarity with biomedical warehouse procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage daily stock and inventory procedures for biomedical items.
• Keep precise records of all biomedical equipment, supplies, and materials to ensure data accuracy.
• Regularly review inventory levels and reorder supplies to maintain optimal stock and prevent shortages.
• Apply inventory control policies to minimize waste, reduce costs, and improve stock efficiency.
• Conduct frequent inventory checks to reconcile physical stock with system records and generate reports.
• Perform electronic file backups to ensure proper preservation of inventory data.
• Handle receipt, circulation, and systematic documentation of all incoming and outgoing biomedical spare parts and accessories.
• Maintain sequential numbering for all outgoing inventory correspondence and ensure proper distribution to relevant departments.
• Update and maintain related documentation as necessary and follow up on pending records to ensure timely exchanges.
• Engage suppliers and companies for quotation requests to fulfill procurement with competitive pricing.
• Execute other tasks within the job scope as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in stock control or inventory management, ideally within healthcare or biomedical equipment sectors.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Biomedical Engineering, or closely related area.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
