Join the vibrant team at Movie World, Gold Coast, as a Groundsperson where your passion for landscaping meets the excitement of maintaining beautiful spaces in a major theme park. This full-time opportunity offers early finishes and the chance to bring creativity and pride to outdoor environments that guests cherish.

Key Duties

• Begin your workday early between 5:00–5:30 am and finish by 1:30–2:00 pm, with every fifth shift potentially ending even earlier according to business needs.
• Perform landscaping and horticultural maintenance including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, spraying, and general groundskeeping labor.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and park policies, maintaining a safe, secure, and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrate enthusiasm and skill in outdoor garden care and landscaping.
• Certificate III in Horticulture preferred but relevant experience and enthusiasm will be considered.
• Experience in horticulture, groundskeeping, or landscaping roles is required.
• Hold a manual driver’s license; experience with machinery such as bobcats, excavators, backhoes, trucks, or tractors is advantageous.
• Committed to workplace health and safety standards.
• Physically fit for demanding tasks including lifting, bending, carrying, pushing and pulling.
• Reliable and flexible with availability for weekend and school holiday shifts.

Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $29.63 to $32.60 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This role is based onsite at Movie World in Oxenford, Gold Coast.
