Role Overview

We are looking for a diligent and proactive Distribution Assistant to aid in distribution activities, delivery coordination, and help streamline the movement of products within the organization. This position offers a valuable chance for professionals experienced or interested in distribution, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or transportation to advance their career in a fully remote, international setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily distribution and delivery coordination tasks.
• Monitor order statuses, shipments, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate closely with teams across Distribution, Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Transportation, Customer Service and Operations.
• Coordinate deliveries with carriers, warehouses, and service providers.
• Track distribution performance and key operational metrics.
• Maintain accurate distribution records, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Support inventory handling and warehouse coordination efforts.
• Generate operational reports, dashboards, and updates for management.
• Address routine issues related to distribution and deliveries in a timely manner.
• Organize documentation control and maintain well-kept records.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within distribution workflows.
• Promote accuracy and efficiency in logistics operations.
• Assist with cross-functional projects involving supply chain and transportation.
• Support customer service activities related to order fulfillment.
• Stay current with best practices and trends in distribution and logistics.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related disciplines.
• 1 to 2 years experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, transportation or similar fields is beneficial.
• Understanding of distribution and logistics processes.
• Strong organizational capabilities and effective communication skills.
• High attention to detail along with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Experience with ERP, transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or Microsoft Office is advantageous.
• Knowledge of order fulfillment, inventory control, shipment tracking, or warehouse coordination is a plus.
• Capability to work autonomously and in cooperation with international teams.
• Experience in UAE or GCC logistics environments is advantageous but not required.
• Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain are welcome yet optional.
