Test Lead - Telecom Domain

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Test Lead with a solid background in Telecom domain projects to join our team in Riyadh Region. The candidate should have extensive experience in functional, API, ETL, database, and end-to-end testing to ensure high-quality output for large-scale telecom applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various levels of testing including Functional, Integration, End-to-End (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for telecom applications.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate integrations across diverse systems.
• Manage ETL testing manually as well as through ETL tools like Informatica, ensuring data correctness in extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop and execute complex test scenarios aligned with telecom business processes.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects utilizing defect management software.
• Create and verify complex SQL queries for backend database validation and data reconciliation.
• Work extensively with Oracle databases, performing detailed field-level mapping verifications.
• Apply business logic and rules for data validation, particularly in staging environments and data movements.
• Collaborate closely with business users and stakeholders throughout UAT and BAT cycles.
• Explore and apply AI-enabled techniques to enhance ETL testing efficiency and automation.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in Telecom-specific QA roles.
• Expertise in Functional Testing, API Testing (Postman), Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing, UAT, and BAT.
• Proficient in defect management processes.
• Experience in ETL Testing using tools such as Informatica.
• Familiarity with AI application in ETL testing and automation strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and database query development for validation purposes.
• Competent in Oracle database operations, data validation, and field-level mapping.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Prior experience working in client-facing roles.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

Work Conditions

• Onsite work required from Sunday to Thursday at the client office.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders is essential.
