Job Summary
The role involves delivering and collecting packages from both residential and commercial locations. It is a physically demanding and dynamic job requiring driving as well as frequent lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages. Adherence to safe transportation practices is essential when traveling to and from destinations. Providing excellent customer service through efficiency and dedication is a key focus.
Responsibilities
- Learn and apply UPS-approved safe driving techniques consistently.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Capability to lift objects weighing up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms).
- Conformance with UPS appearance and grooming standards.
- Strong customer interaction skills coupled with competent driving abilities.
- Fulfillment of minimum age and local regulatory requirements to operate a vehicle.
- Availability to work five days per week.
