About The Role

The Golden State Warriors seek a skilled developer to join their expanding team, focusing on an internal web application pivotal to the basketball operations department. You'll collaborate closely with data engineers and scientists to develop tools that translate complex data into usable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Create and sustain functionalities for the internal basketball operations web app.
Manage the underlying application database to enhance features and optimize query performance.
Partner with data science and analytics teams to craft user-friendly interfaces for intricate data.
Participate in shaping application architecture and uphold code quality standards.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum three years of experience in front-end or full-stack development.
Proficiency in React and TypeScript frameworks.
Experience with Python programming, PostgreSQL databases, and RESTful APIs.
Comfortable working across various front-end frameworks.
Knowledge of contemporary web development tools and best practices.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-organized code.
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with effective presentation abilities to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Capable of fostering productive relationships with colleagues at all organizational levels.
Skill in juggling multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
A keen interest in sports and entertainment sectors.
Experience with Next.js and mobile app development is advantageous.
Background in building data-intensive dashboards or visualization tools is beneficial.
Familiarity with design systems or component libraries is a plus.

Annual salary of $120,000 plus additional bonus.
