Overview of the Role

As a Delivery Driver at Aaron’s, your responsibilities will be diverse and involve more than just driving. This role includes loading, securing, delivering, and installing merchandise while also assisting customers in understanding product usage. The position is store-based and also supports various store activities like moving and picking merchandise. This variety makes each day unique and provides opportunities to engage with many community members.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and safely secure merchandise for delivery
• Unload, install, and demonstrate products to customers
• Operate a delivery vehicle safely without the need for a commercial driver’s license
• Support store operations by assisting with handling merchandise as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Basic knowledge of electronics
• A genuine eagerness to assist customers
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 300 lbs using appropriate equipment
• Capability to work outdoors under various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license (no CDL required)
• Must be at least 21 years old in the U.S., or 18 in Canada
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must satisfy Department of Transportation certification standards (U.S. only)

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this role ranges from $17 to $19. Compensation placement within this range depends on numerous factors including education, experience, certifications, performance, and business needs. Employees may also be eligible for additional incentives and bonuses as determined by the company.
