Role Overview

This entry-level Retail Sales Associate position is designed with flexible schedules and offers a chance to grow in a fast-paced store environment. The role typically includes cashiering, handling cash, processing fuel payments, cleaning, and restocking. In some foodservice-focused locations, you may also handle food preparation and food safety tasks. A positive attitude matters more than prior experience, as training is provided to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Daily work centers on serving customers, keeping the store ready for business, and supporting smooth operations. You will help with transactions, maintain cleanliness, stock merchandise, and contribute to foodservice where applicable.

• Deliver friendly service and work to exceed customer expectations on each visit.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions, and loyalty program promotions accurately.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and customer-ready at all times.
• Prepare and present food items properly, including coffee and other customer favorites where needed.
• Follow health, safety, and food-code standards in all relevant tasks.
• Perform repetitive physical duties such as bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements and Qualifications

Prior cashier, customer service, retail, or foodservice experience can be helpful, but it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.

• Ability to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Comfort with food preparation, presentation, and beverage service where applicable.
