Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter)

About the Role

Join an established digital product team developing mobile applications serving a global user base. This role focuses on hands-on Flutter development to enhance core product paths such as registration, discovery, user profiles, messaging, engagement, and monetization. You will work on maintaining and evolving production mobile apps for iOS and Android, supporting multiple brands with dedicated configurations. The environment is fully remote and globally distributed, engaging professionals across cultures and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and sustain key mobile product features spanning authentication, search, user profiles, photos, messaging, matching, and engagement.
• Analyze and optimize critical product funnels including user registration, subscription upgrades, monetization, messaging activity, and conversion rates.
• Lead analytics efforts into core mobile workflows to offer insights on user behaviors and suggest product improvements.
• Manage platform-specific functionalities like push notifications, deep linking, and real-time features.
• Examine mobile advertising and in-app purchase metrics and support initiatives to boost monetization effectiveness.
• Implement and support compliance-related features such as consent management and user verification processes.
• Develop scalable and sustainable Flutter applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Drive multi-flavor and white-label app delivery including brand-specific setups, assets, store identifiers, and Firebase environments.
• Write automated unit and widget tests aiming for high code reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and analytics in an international remote setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience with Flutter and Dart 3.x; proven record of shipping and supporting live applications on iOS and Android.
• In-depth understanding of layered mobile architecture separating UI, domain logic, repositories, and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Flutter state management patterns such as BLoC and Provider, along with GetIt for dependency injection and GoRouter for routing.
• Proficiency with Dio networking and immutable data models using code generation tools like built_value or equivalents.
• Competence in creating multi-flavor or white-label mobile applications including management of brand-specific assets, store IDs, and Firebase configurations.
• Experience in authoring automated tests, especially unit and widget tests, familiarity with bloc_test or BDD testing is advantageous.
• Strong grasp of mobile app architecture geared towards performance, maintainability, and production readiness.
• Analytical approach focused on data-driven product enhancements and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously, own technical responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with a distributed international team.
• Fluency in Russian and at least B2-level proficiency in English for communication.
