Role Overview
The Quantitative Trading teams at Jump delve into global market complexities, analyzing data and utilizing statistical expertise to craft predictive models that drive profitable trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with seasoned Traders and Quantitative Researchers to provide in-depth strategy analyses and share market insights.
- Conduct deep examination of strategy performance, including identifying and troubleshooting infrastructure challenges.
- Continuously refine algorithmic trading strategies dynamically to optimize performance amid evolving market conditions.
- Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated analytical thinking with the ability to recognize patterns and make informed decisions.
- Highly inquisitive and self-motivated to explore the complex domain of high-frequency trading and enhance business outcomes.
- Strong enthusiasm to deepen understanding of financial markets, covering both microstructure and macroeconomic aspects.
- Minimum of two years programming or software engineering experience, preferably in Python.
- Good working knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with willingness and ability to engage in networking across a global organization.
- Consistent reliability and dependable availability for work commitments.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Knowledge or experience in statistics and machine learning is advantageous.
