Job description
Major Accountabilities
- Assist in monitoring, tracking, and evaluating the setup for material release, contributing to internal KPI and quality improvement processes.
- Lead and support investigations related to deviations (DEV), out-of-specification (OOx) and complaint cases, as well as advocate for quality initiatives and projects within scope.
- Complete required personal training modules within specified timelines.
- Ensure raw materials and consumables are released on time and in compliance with quality standards, including making release decisions for these materials.
- Manage all non-conformity issues concerning raw materials released, including OOS, OOE, OOT, deviations, and complaints.
- Drive the consistent and efficient functioning of the quality operations department within the designated area of responsibility.
- Identify opportunities to enhance productivity and coordinate their execution.
- Provide support during health authority inspections and customer audits.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in life sciences or a related discipline such as bioengineering, pharmacy, medicine, biology, or chemistry.
- At least 2 years of experience in quality control (QC).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards and processes.
- Competence in risk management and making quality-focused decisions.
- Key skills include ability to handle ambiguity, eagerness for continuous learning, collaboration across functions, and change management.
- Proficiency in English and German languages is mandatory.
