Nua Healthcare Services, a leading care provider in Ireland, offers comprehensive Residential, Supported Living, Day Services, and Community Outreach to children and adults with diverse complex needs such as autism, Asperger syndrome, acquired brain injuries, challenging behaviour, intellectual disabilities including Alzheimer's or dementia, mental health rehabilitation, recovery, and personality disorders. The Painter role supports the upkeep and enhancement of our facilities located in Cavan, County Cavan, ensuring high-quality maintenance aligned with our mission, vision, and values.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain property appearance through internal and external painting tasks.
• Complete all painting assignments efficiently and tidily.
• Report major repair needs to management promptly.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of lighting, heating, and ventilation equipment within properties.
• Maintain and submit all required documentation and reports related to property upkeep.
• Identify and communicate any unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere strictly to company safety and security protocols while performing duties.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule as required to support property needs.

Candidate Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a similar painting or maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of painting materials and techniques.
• Possession of a full clean driver's licence.
• Excellent interpersonal demeanor with empathy and understanding for others’ needs.
• Self-motivated with outstanding organizational skills and capacity to work independently.
• Effective verbal, written communication and IT literacy skills.
• Team-oriented with a flexible and dependable approach to work.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
