This role is integral in ensuring clear, consistent internal messaging that aligns the global workforce of approximately 2,000 employees, keeping everyone engaged and informed using primarily digital platforms like Slack instead of traditional emails.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and deliver company announcements, updates, and milestone communications suitable for a global and multi-entity team.
• Manage and refine the internal communications calendar to guarantee timely dissemination of appropriate messages to the correct audience segments.
• Enhance communication efforts across regional offices by adapting successful Melbourne strategies for global applicability, ensuring cohesion outside of headquarters.
• Foster and maintain stakeholder relationships at all organizational levels to extend communication reach and highlight notable stories.
• Oversee communication channels and systems, including the intranet and Slack, to ensure accessibility to essential company information.
• Coordinate and contribute to in-person leadership engagement events such as company-wide all-hands meetings and 'Ask Me Anything' sessions.
• Collaborate with various departments to deliver targeted project communications.
• Analyze communication effectiveness and utilize insights to continually improve messaging strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Professional experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in internal communications, content management, or comparable communication roles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with skill in tailoring tone and style to diverse leaders and audiences.
• Proven competency in managing stakeholders across multiple levels, from executives to frontline personnel.
• Practical knowledge and regular use of Slack, Canva, Confluence, or similar communication and design tools.
• Strong organizational capabilities with an effective system for managing a busy content schedule.
• Good design sensibility supported by proficient Canva usage.
• Proactivity with an aptitude to identify needs independently before being prompted.
• Adaptability and energetic approach to keep pace with a rapidly changing environment.
