Interior Designer

About the Role

WorthSpace, based in Lucknow, is seeking a skilled and creative Interior Designer to manage residential interior projects from the initial concept through to final completion. The role involves collaborating closely with clients, architects, vendors, and site teams to deliver superior interior designs that align with WorthSpace’s standards for quality and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret client needs, lifestyles, budgets, and design preferences comprehensively.
• Create conceptual designs, including space planning and detailed interior layouts.
• Prepare detailed drawings such as furniture placement, ceiling plans, electrical layouts, elevations, and more.
• Select materials, colors, furniture, and finishes that align with project themes.
• Produce both 2D drawings and 3D visual representations of designs.
• Present design proposals to customers and integrate their feedback into revisions.
• Develop working drawings and liaise with the project execution team.
• Collaborate with architects, site engineers, vendors, and contractors extensively.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure implementation matches approved plans.
• Troubleshoot any design-related issues on-site.
• Support material selection, bill of quantities, and cost estimation processes.
• Maintain thorough documentation including drawings, revisions, and client approvals.
• Ensure project delivery within the scope of design quality, budget, and timelines.

Candidate Profile

• 2 to 5 years’ experience specifically in residential interior design.
• Strong grasp of space planning, material selection, furniture, lighting, and finishing details.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and SketchUp, with added advantage for knowledge in 3D rendering software.
• Good understanding of producing working drawings and intricate interior detailing.
• Effective communication and presentation skills capable of managing client expectations.
• Excellent coordination skills for liaising with site and execution teams.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Portfolio showcasing completed residential projects is preferred.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from ₹25,000 to ₹50,000, contingent on experience and individual capability.
