About the Role

We are searching for an accomplished Global Human Resources Director to lead the company's worldwide HR operations from Dubai. This full-time role involves crafting and implementing people strategies that support global business expansion while ensuring operational efficiency, organizational strength, and compliance with labor laws in various countries.

Acting as a strategic advisor to the senior leadership team, you will manage the full employee lifecycle, establish scalable HR frameworks, nurture leadership development, and foster a culture geared towards high performance across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute HR strategies that align with corporate goals at a global level.
  • Collaborate with executives on organizational planning, workforce expansion, and business growth.
  • Lead initiatives in organizational structure, change management, and succession planning.
  • Create uniform global HR policies while customizing them to local market needs.
  • Head global recruitment efforts spanning multiple regions and business sectors.
  • Strengthen the company’s employer brand to attract elite international professionals.
  • Develop leadership pipelines and succession plans for critical roles.
  • Oversee workforce planning in support of business growth objectives.
  • Build and implement global frameworks for performance management and key performance indicators.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews, talent evaluations, and calibration activities.
  • Manage leadership development initiatives, learning programs, and career advancement.
  • Provide coaching to senior management on effective people leadership and organizational health.
  • Formulate competitive global compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Perform salary benchmarking and conduct market assessments across regions.
  • Review incentive, bonus, and employee recognition schemes to ensure fairness.
  • Ensure consistent and equitable compensation practices worldwide.
  • Supervise HR operations ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations in all operating countries.
  • Standardize HR procedures, policies, and governance frameworks globally.
  • Oversee payroll governance, HR information systems, employee record maintenance, and HR reporting.
  • Manage audit processes and mitigate employment-related risks.
  • Promote a culture of high performance, collaboration, and inclusivity.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and cultivate organizational culture.
  • Address complex employee relations issues and mentor regional HR teams.
  • Advance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
  • Support international workforce strategies including expatriate management and relocation efforts.
  • Provide HR guidance during new market entries and organizational restructuring.
  • Lead and develop regional HR teams across multiple countries.
  • Build strong partnerships with business units and country leadership.
  • Manage the global HR budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Drive continuous refinement of HR processes and enhance employee experience.

Candidate Profile

  • Master’s degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
  • Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD Level 7, or equivalent are highly valued.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including minimum 5 years in a senior HR leadership position.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing HR functions across multiple countries or regions.
  • Experience working within multinational or rapidly growing enterprises.
  • Proficient in strategic HR business partnership, organizational development, and talent management.
  • Track record in leading HR transformation and managing organizational change.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with performance management, compensation, employee relations, and talent development sectors.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and digital HR transformations.
  • Exceptional leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and decisive judgment.
  • Ability to thrive in culturally diverse settings.

Preferred Experience

  • Background supporting operations in the Middle East, APAC, Europe, Africa, or Latin America.
  • Sector experience in technology, fintech, digital marketing, e-commerce, or multinational corporations.
  • Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, and international expansion projects.
  • Familiarity with UAE Labor Law and multi-jurisdictional HR compliance coordination.
