Role Overview

The Dishwasher at Gator's Dockside plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety within the dishwashing and waste disposal areas. This position operates under direct supervision of management and requires adherence to all company policies and procedures as outlined in official documentation. The Dishwasher interacts cooperatively with management and hourly staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Properly clean and sanitize a wide array of food service equipment including plates, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, prep tools, and other items using three-compartment sinks and mechanical dishwashers.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or unsafe and unsanitary conditions promptly to management, including Kitchen Manager, Assistant Managers, or General Manager.
• Complete assigned cleaning and organizational projects timely and according to management instructions.
• Assist as a prep cook during slower business periods, following food preparation guidelines and maintaining current food safety certification.
• Contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of all shared restaurant areas such as restrooms, dining floors, kitchen floors, walls, windows, doors, and equipment stations as directed by management.
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness standards consistently.
