Data Architect

Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Data Architect with 7 to 10 years of experience in designing and deploying comprehensive enterprise data architectures, modern data platforms, and data governance frameworks. The candidate must have direct hands-on experience in a Data Architect role and significant project involvement with at least one of these technologies: Informatica IDMC, Microsoft Fabric with Purview, or Databricks.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture solutions
• Create and maintain data models at conceptual, logical, and physical levels
• Lead data governance and metadata management efforts
• Oversee data lineage, quality management, and master data management (MDM)
• Architect data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse solutions
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries
• Develop and manage cloud-based data platforms, preferably on Microsoft Azure

Preferred Skills and Technologies

• Microsoft Purview, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics
• Snowflake, Power BI, Informatica Data Governance & Catalog, Informatica MDM
• Unity Catalog
• Programming in Python or PySpark
• Familiarity with AI/ML data platforms
• Knowledge of enterprise frameworks like TOGAF, DAMA-DMBOK
• Relevant professional certifications in Azure, Databricks, Informatica, TOGAF, or CDMP
