Role Overview
As a Crew Member, you will be integral to the daily operations of the restaurant, preparing food by hand at various stations such as grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. No microwaves or freezers are used, highlighting Chipotle's commitment to fresh food preparation. This position offers thorough training, a supportive atmosphere, and a clear progression path, with over 80% of managers promoted internally from crew positions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh food by hand for customers following Chipotle’s standards.
- Operate different stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo with confidence post-training.
- Provide excellent customer service to create a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Collaborate efficiently with team members to maintain smooth operations.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Minimum age of 16 years old.
- A friendly and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for serving others—both customers and teammates.
- Willingness and eagerness to learn cooking skills extensively.
- Effective communication skills in the primary language(s) used at the location.
