About the Role
Panda Express seeks motivated and experienced leaders to join its store management team. This role involves supporting the daily operation of a single restaurant location through team leadership and achieving financial objectives while ensuring excellent guest experiences. Comprehensive store leadership training lasting three or more weeks will be provided to prepare you for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and directing restaurant associates to meet business goals.
- Help oversee hiring and team development within the store.
- Drive performance to achieve financial targets and optimize customer satisfaction.
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the restaurant.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- Food Safety certification such as Serve Safe is required.
- Flexibility to relocate to any store within a 50-mile radius as needed.
- Availability to work varied shifts including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Job involves long periods of standing, working in hot and fast-moving kitchen environments with noise and steam.
- Tasks include handling hot and cold foods, working with kitchen equipment and knives safely.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and reach across counters approximately 36 inches in height.
- Strong verbal communication skills and adaptability needed for dynamic, fast-paced work.
- Capability to manage stressful and conflict-prone situations effectively.
